Microsoft fires CIO Stuart L. Scott: suspects “L” stands for Linux?

The wires are buzzin’ with news that Microsoft has fired its Chief Information Officer and Vice Prez, Stuart L. Scott. No reason was given other than the benign, “violation of company policies” HR-speak. Scott joined Microsoft in 2005 from GE. His successor will be Alain Crozier.
